The ‘Rock Oyster Project’ is a Seychelles Climate Change Adaptation Trust (SEYCCAT) funded pilot project for a period of two years from June 2021, to determine the feasibility of commercial farming rock oysters as an edible product for the Seychelles market and eventually export.

The project is being implemented through a grant of about R1 million (one million rupees) with almost R2m (two million rupees) in co-financing from the project team and its partners.
